Sucker Screenings!

This past weekend, Sucker premiered at Ithaca College's Thesis screening, Window Water Thesis Screening, and was very well received! This Wednesday, May 18, 2011, Sucker will be screening again in Ithaca, NY as part of an event called HER STORY. This screening, held at the Ithaca Women's Center, is celebrating the female filmmakers of Ithaca College's Thesis class and will feature 9 films and a Q&A session. The Sucker production team is very excited to be able to showcase our film and we look forward to more screenings to come!

On Saturday (well very early Sunday morning) the cast and crew of Sucker wrapped on production of the film! It was a long week filled with a ton of work, but we had a wonderful time and put together a great film. The film is now in the hands of our editor, Kelly, and we can't wait to see how it turns out.

Introducing Tom Smith: Lighting



A Film, Photography and Visual Arts BFA at Ithaca College, Tom Smith hopes to develop enough skill as a filmmaker to be called talented. Introducing Kelly Gannon: Editor


Kelly is a senior Film, Photograph & Visual Arts major at Ithaca College. She is from a small town outside of Albany, NY. In her time at IC she has created a handful of her own films, as well as having held some key positions on other student productions. Kelly has been working on setting up her own photography business and hopes to have that in full swing soon after graduating. Down the road she wants to focus on wedding photography and expand her business to include videography.

Introducing Anne Gould Northgraves: Writer/AD


Writer/AD Anne Gould Northgraves is a senior Screenwriting major at Ithaca College. From a small town in Massachusetts, she has written several scripts produced by classmates and is currently working on her third feature length screenplay. Kristyne is a senior Cinema Production major at Ithaca College. Originally from Vermilion, OH Kristyne has produced seven of her own short films while at Ithaca College, and has been a crew member on a number of other student films. After graduation in May, Kristyne hopes to move to Los Angeles in order to pursue a career in the film industry.

Test Photographs

Here are some test photographs that were taken with the main actress in the woods in which the film will be shot. Although there is snow on the ground in these photos, the film is planned to be shot in the spring, and therefore will not be featuring snow.

Sucker Logo


We plan to use this image as the film's logo. It was drawn by the main actress and will be potentially used for postcards and t-shirts. It will be paired with the phrase "Let's get this Sucker," which is the film's tagline.
